This workshop brings together research and practice as it shares findings and activities from a study on children’s ecological citizenship and participation in environmental curriculum and research. Workshop participants will engage in discussion and activities that follow the study’s research process and can be brought into their own learning community.

Susan Jagger is an Associate Professor in the School of Early Childhood Studies at Ryerson University. An experienced elementary teacher in BC and the UK, Susan's research focuses on environmental education and participatory research approaches with children.
Breanna Ashdown is a Research Assistant with a BSc in Biology and Microbiology from University of Victoria.
