The Koh Learning Project in the Nechako watershed is exploring ways that students, teachers, community members and place are working together to re-imagine learning and what it means to learn from the land. As part of the Koh Learning Project teachers and students are actively working to be contributors and agents of change within the watershed.
Deb is an instructor in the Masters program at UNBC and Mia is a Middle School teacher in SD 91. Both are teacher leaders in the Koh Learning project. The Koh Learning Project is creating experiential, place based learning in the Nechako watershed. Teachers and students are exploring cross-curricular, hands-on learning.
