I share Indigenous heritage with my father, as a member of the Chickamauga Cherokee Nation. I learned my father's and my grandparent's medicine ways since the age of 2 and I build and facilitate land based teachings in Nature, such as building Medicine Wheels, and river and water ceremonies for healing and for connecting with the land. I have worked as a nurse, teacher, principal and traditional counselor for the past 50 years. I have lived in Australia, Indonesia, France, England and the US besides Canada and from these places learned from local medicine people. I have lived at sea where I taught Marine Biology on ships based in Long Beach California. My life outlook is, "Make your life an adventure, and share your good medicine!"
